We will make more efforts to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine

In recent years, China's population aging has entered a stage of rapid development. According to relevant data, at the end of 2012, the number of elderly people over the age of 60 in China reached 194 million, which will reach 243 million by 2020 and 300 million by 2025. The pension problem has received wide attention from all circles of society. To address this issue, ma jun, a member of the CPPCC national committee, has proposed to further promote the development of TCM health care services in China.

The document of the state council, the development plan for the development of traditional Chinese medicine (2015-2020) and the outline of the strategic planning for the development of traditional Chinese medicine (2016-2030), have proposed to actively develop the health care services for traditional Chinese medicine. The state administration of traditional Chinese medicine also issued on the implementation opinion "to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine health care, pension and traditional Chinese medicine health services into the much starker choices-and graver consequences-in planning career development of Chinese medicine, the measures to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine health care.

"But at present, the development of TCM health care services cannot meet the needs of the people's growing multi-level and diversified pension services." According to ma jun, the current development of TCM health care service is still facing the following problems: first, the investment in the construction of TCM health care system is insufficient, and the allocation of resources is unreasonable. Second, the system of traditional Chinese medicine health care service lacks standardization and the supervision service system is not perfect. Third, the service concept, technical method, research achievements of the health care of traditional Chinese medicine are not in place, and the coverage rate is small. Fourth, traditional Chinese medicine health service lacks the mature mode which combines with the old-age service industry, and the support power of traditional Chinese medicine to the health care service is relatively limited. Fifth, the construction of TCM health care service professionals is not optimistic, and there is a lack of multi-level and high-level talents.

In response to the above problems, ma proposed five Suggestions: first, to establish a three-dimensional fund raising and multi-field cooperation management system. The government should set up a special fund to support the health care service of traditional Chinese medicine, establish and improve the management system of health care fund for traditional Chinese medicine, and encourage social institutions and organizations to establish development funds. We will allow the state health insurance and related insurance to participate in the reimbursement system for the health care expenses of traditional Chinese medicine, and improve the supervision and management system for pension reimbursement. To construct the quality assessment system for the elderly, to formulate supporting system for the specific difficulties of the elderly population; Second, we will establish a standardized system and a regulatory service system for the health care service of traditional Chinese medicine. Third, we will establish a sound system for the dissemination of health care services for traditional Chinese medicine, and make full use of the media, the Internet, the emerging media and the regional publicity column to build a brand of traditional Chinese medicine. Strengthen the update, and public health care policies, measures and achievements of Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine health care products, industrial development, and type, etc., construction of traditional Chinese medicine health care of omni-directional propaganda; Fourth, we will actively explore and build a system of health care and pension service for traditional Chinese medicine, and strengthen the old-age pension, community pension and family pension model for TCM resources. Fifth, we will establish a talent training and human resource management system for the health care service of traditional Chinese medicine, and strengthen the construction of the talent team.
