On September 14, the national health and health commission and the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine jointly issued the notice on the implementation of the > regulations on the prevention and treatment of medical disputes. Required local health administrative departments at all levels (including the management of traditional Chinese medicine department, hereinafter the same) and various types of medical institutions at all levels should be fully aware of the regulations on the medical dispute prevention and treatment of the significance, pays special attention to the implementation of earnestly, jointly with relevant departments to promote the medical dispute prevention and treatment work, truly implement, obtains the actual effect.

The notice stressed that local health and health administrative departments at all levels should comprehensively publicize education, make preparations for the implementation of the regulations on the prevention and handling of medical disputes, strengthen medical quality supervision and management, and prevent medical disputes. Medical disputes should be dealt with properly in a timely manner, giving full play to the main channel of people's mediation.
