Chui said that Chinese medicine is an important in the development of Macao economy moderately industry, the Macao SAR government attaches great importance to the heritage and development. The who collaborating centre for traditional medicine in macau, help to macau in the research of traditional Chinese medicine, the development of quality control, standardized management, realize the industrialization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine will help macau.
Chui said that at present, the way of science and technology industrial park of traditional Chinese medicine has contributed to a series of medical treatment, scientific research, education and cultural cooperation projects. The SAR government will continue to deepen the cooperation with the who and the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine, promote the local long-term development of Chinese medicine.
Margaret chan, said the who recognize and support the development of Macao, traditional medicine in the two sides continue to strengthen cooperation. She points out that the who collaborating centre for traditional medicine in the establishment of Macao, contribute to the practice of traditional medicine and Chinese medicine specification and effective development. The center will become a who member states and regions important platform to share experience and development strategy.
Dr Chan also affirmed the macau in terms of infectious disease epidemic prevention work. She said, who will support the training of talent policy, especially in cultivating talents on public health.
