Work stress is easy to suffer from heart disease
2017-03-26
Source: Health News
In the latest issue of the European Journal of Cardiology, a study published by British researchers said that long-term work to withstand greater stress will cause physical dysfunction and increase the risk of heart disease.
Researchers conducted seven surveys of more than 10,000 British civil servants in 12 years and asked them about their work-related issues. The survey found that civil servants, who had been identified as heavily stressed in the previous two surveys, were under pressure for a long time and 68% more likely to have a heart attack than normal. In addition, respondents under the age of 50 who have long been under working stress are associated with a risk of heart disease.
Tallani Jandola, who presided over the study, says work stress can change the behavior and physiological functions of people, eating unhealthy food, smoking and drinking bad habits are enough to induce heart disease.
