A number of organizations in Sydney jointly organized a Chinese medicine experts exchange activity between Australia and China

China news network, oct 26, 2018

Sydney, Oct. 26 (xinhua) -- in 2012, more and more people began to accept traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as part of Australia's medical system. To promote Chinese medicine, a number of organisations in Sydney will jointly organise a Chinese medicine experts exchange programme to introduce Chinese medicine culture and related knowledge.

According to zhou bo, chairman of the Chinese service association, one of the host organizations, Australia was one of the first countries to implement the regulation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). As an organization dedicated to community service, the Chinese service society has been concerned about the health and well-being of the community since its establishment in 1981. In order to carry forward the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, carry forward the essence of Chinese culture, and promote the academic exchange between the Chinese medicine circles in Australia and China, we have jointly organized the "exchange activity of Chinese medicine experts in Australia and China" with a number of related organizations.

Other relevant organizations include the alliance of tianshili Chinese medicine experts, the Australian Chinese medicine society and the Australian hunan association.

To support the campaign, the overseas Chinese affairs offices of hunan and changsha will organize a "Chinese medicine care group" consisting of 6 senior Chinese medicine experts to participate in the event in Sydney. They will hold a "health education seminar for senior citizens" at the Chinese community service club. They will introduce the knowledge of Chinese medicine to the local community and hold a roundtable meeting with local Chinese medicine experts to discuss and exchange medical skills.

Liu heng, general manager of the tianshili Chinese medicine expert alliance center, Ivan, honorary President of the Australian Chinese medicine association, fang shan, supervisor, and Chen yadong, President of the Australian hunan association, attended the conference and said that they will fully support the event and promote the exchange of Chinese medicine experts between Australia and China.
