In the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, the province requires the establishment and improvement of the management system for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases with the participation of traditional Chinese medicine, the intervention of chronic diseases with traditional Chinese medicine should be included in the contract service of family doctors, and the health intervention program for chronic diseases should be provided. We should give full play to the role of traditional Chinese medicine in "prevention, health maintenance, health care, recuperation, treatment and rehabilitation", encourage people with traditional Chinese medicine backgrounds to join the family doctor signing service team, and strengthen TCM training for chronic disease managers and practitioners. Strengthen the capacity building of chronic disease prevention in medical institutions of traditional Chinese medicine, focusing on improving the diagnosis and treatment capacity of Chinese and western medicine for such diseases as hypertension, diabetes, mental diseases and stroke, and integrate the network construction of chronic disease prevention in medical institutions of traditional Chinese medicine into the medium and long term plan for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in the province. We will support the establishment of disease control institutions, traditional Chinese medicine hospitals and general hospitals, through the construction of medical consortiums, carry out vertical and horizontal cooperation networks and platforms for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases, and make breakthroughs in the capacity of Chinese and western medicine to coordinate the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases.
