In 2016, the municipal committee of the Chinese people's political consultative conference (CPPCC) carried out in-depth implementation of the state council's notice on the issuance of the outline of strategic planning for the development of traditional Chinese medicine (2016-2030), quickly launched a special investigation, "build quanzhou brand of traditional Chinese medicine, work together to create an advanced city of TCM at the grass-roots level" and other key proposals, party secretary and mayor made important instructions.
