Xinhua Gaborone, November 25 (reporter Yang Mengxi) sponsored by the overseas China's anhui province, anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine and Gaborone, Botswana help center to undertake "care plan" of traditional Chinese medicine health consultation 24 to 25, held in the capital Gaborone, Botswana, and the doctor of traditional Chinese medicine experts to serve local overseas Chinese and the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment.
The TCM care program is one of the eight programs of the overseas Chinese affairs office of the state council under the overseas Chinese affairs office. Five experts of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) visited Botswana this time, including orthopedics department, rehabilitation department and gynecology department. On the 24th day alone, they made diagnosis and treatment for nearly 100 overseas Chinese in Botswana. Some patients drove more than 200 kilometers to see a doctor.
Sun shanbin, director of the rehabilitation department of the second affiliated hospital of anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine, said that some patients have language barriers in local areas and it is inconvenient to see a doctor at ordinary times. Some patients don't even see a doctor for two years after they develop symptoms. The patient that sees a doctor that day suffers from cervical vertebra, lumbar vertebra disease is more.
