Li malin, vice governor of yunnan provincial people's government, attended and presided over the joint conference on traditional Chinese medicine held recently.

The meeting pointed out that since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China, all members of the joint conference on TCM in yunnan province have earnestly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC central committee, the state council, the provincial party committee and the provincial government, overcome difficulties, forge ahead, improve the system and optimize services, and made great progress in the development of TCM in the province.

Meeting requirements of various departments at all levels in yunnan province to resolutely implement the party central committee and the state council and the provincial party committee and government, the decision deployment, around the "play a role of three" "advancing four (4) establish a sound" "activate five resources", active service and integrated into the province's overall economic and social development, promoting the development of high quality of Chinese medicine in yunnan province. Third, the unique advantages of TCM in the development of big health industry should be brought into full play. In order to meet the needs of the development of the big health industry, the goal and path of the development of yunnan traditional Chinese medicine industry should be scientifically determined. We will accelerate the development of new forms of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), such as health care for the aged and health tourism, and vigorously promote the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries of TCM, so that the TCM industry will truly become a strategic emerging industry driving the economic transformation and upgrading of yunnan. Fourth, we will strengthen the role of the joint conference's working mechanism. All departments and units should work together to form synergy, earnestly fulfill their duties of protecting, supporting and developing TCM, and jointly care about, attach importance to and support the development of TCM.
